Tour: CNG trucks and Infrastructure at UPS

June 26, 2019 @ 12:45 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Learn from UPS about their impressive CNG operations at their facility in Chattanooga! Check out CNG-powered class-8 trucks and a CNG-powered “yard dog,” learn the details behind their refueling and infrastructure (which includes both time-fill and fast-fill), and get your questions answered about how your fleet can save money and reduce emissions by choosing CNG, too. Last but not least, see their maintenance area where they maintain CNG vehicles.

After the tour we will meet in their conference room to answer any other questions you have about UPS’ natural gas operations in Tennessee, then showcase some other examples of CNG users across the state to highlight how CNG is growing in Tennessee.

Who should attend: Any fleet manager interested in compressed natural gas and RENEWABLE natural gas, and private or public fleet managers, heavy-duty CNG-interested people, STEM-interested students, and the general public.

DYK? UPS recently announced that their Chattanooga site will start moving to using RNG – renewable natural gas – very soon!
