From new electric vehicle innovations to major partnerships, the advanced energy industry is thriving in Tennessee!

To showcase some of this year’s innovations and developments, the Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council is hosting our annual Opportunities in Energy event at The Square Room in downtown Knoxville on Wednesday, November 16 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET. Lunch will be provided.

We will have several panels on topics ranging from battery partnerships to corporate sustainability to a local Knoxville nonprofit winning the Department of Energy’s Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize! If you’re interested in our growing advanced energy sector, you won’t want to miss this event.

At Opportunities in Energy, we will also announce the 2022 winner of the Thomas B. Ballard Advanced Energy Leadership Award, an award honoring exemplary leadership and success in championing, connecting, and strengthening Tennessee’s advanced energy economy. Applications open September 30.

The event is free to TAEBC members, government or elected officials. For non-members, tickets are $25, plus a small additional processing fee.
