Innovation in the Electric Power System: Startups Wanted

October 1, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT

As one of the nation’s largest utilities serving 153 local power companies across the Southeast, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is bullish on innovation and enthusiastic about connecting with startups developing new energy technologies that help TVA continue to deliver affordable, clean, reliable energy, protect the environment, and spur economic development.

Join representatives from TVA and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) on Thursday, October 1, from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Eastern time, as they highlight how innovation is coming to life through the Incubatenergy® Network and Incubatenergy Labs programs, designed to bring startups and utilities together to collaboratively address shared challenges in energy system and high-tech R&D, through paid, accelerated demonstration projects.

Attendees will hear pitches from three startups part of Incubatenergy Labs’ 2020 Cohort, and will learn how to engage with Incubatenergy Labs’ 2021 efforts. Attendees also will hear remarks from TVA and EPRI executives, and Knoxville Chamber of Commerce CEO Mike Odom.

This event will be held virtually via WebEx, and registration is available here.

By joining TAEBC, you can be part of this exciting effort to grow Tennessee’s economy through advanced energy innovation, generation and manufacturing.
