This year’s Sustainable Transportation Forum & Expo is joining forces with DriveElectricTN’s EV Momentum Summit to bring you three days of meaningful, relevant sustainable transportation information, discussions, and updates about upcoming funding and project opportunities!
On November 8-9, 2022, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), and Tennessee Clean Fuels (TNCleanFuels) will hold the seventh annual Tennessee Sustainable Transportation Forum & Expo (STFE) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Student Union in downtown Knoxville, TN. This year’s sessions will address topics such as alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies; mobility and transportation justice, including issues of access to transportation and community displacement and gentrification in sustainable transportation projects; and the intersection of transportation, public health and first response. Additionally, a networking reception will be held on the evening of November 8th for attendees. The agenda will be available closer to the event.
One day before STFE, on November 7, 2022, the Drive Electric Tennessee initiative will host the first DriveElectricTN Momentum Summit at the University of Tennessee Student Union in Knoxville, TN. The Momentum Summit will focus exclusively on transportation electrification efforts including breakout groups focused on outreach, EV infrastructure, policies & programs and innovation. Interested parties can register for both the DriveElectricTN Momentum Summit and STF&E using the same Eventbrite page.
Each year, STFE features an alternative fuel vehicle and equipment showcase as well as a luncheon that honors both winners of the Tennessee Sustainable Transportation Awards (TSTAs) and new inductees to the Tennessee Green Fleets (TGF) Certification program.
The TSTAs, organized by TDEC and TDOT, recognize outstanding initiatives to improve the efficiency, accessibility, affordability, and sustainability of transportation systems in the state, consistent with ongoing efforts to improve the health and well-being of Tennesseans, provide for a strong economy, and protect and enhance our state’s natural resources. Learn more about the TSTAs at www.tn.gov/environment/TSTA.
Through TNCleanFuels‘ TGF Certification Program, any Tennessee-based fleet can apply for certification for its efforts toward reducing petroleum consumption, improving air quality, and increasing the use of alternative fuels or advanced vehicle technologies. For more information, visit TNCleanFuels.org.
