The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council hosts yearly Lunch and Learns with the Tennessee Valley Authority to fulfill one of its commitments to our members: Support TVA in becoming an energy company of the future. On Tuesday, July 27, TAEBC will host its next Lunch and Learn with TVA President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Lyash from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET via Zoom Webinar.
Appointed by TVA’s Board of Directors in February 2019, Lyash leads the nation’s largest public utility and one of the top producers of electricity in its mission of serving the people of the Tennessee Valley. During the event, Lyash will discuss TVA’s advanced energy priorities and programs throughout the utility’s service area.
“TAEBC is pleased to welcome back Jeff Lyash to our annual Lunch and Learn event,” said TAEBC Executive Director Cortney Piper. “We look forward to hearing from him about TVA’s current and future advanced energy projects and goals.”
The event is sponsored by TAEBC Member Ameresco, a leading, independent clean tech integrator of comprehensive energy services including energy efficiency, infrastructure upgrades and renewable energy solutions for municipal, higher education, and utility clients throughout North America.
“TVA is helping lead a new generation of advanced energy innovation across the Valley; and Jeff Lyash has been at the core of this transformation,” said Steve Seifried, Tennessee Account Executive for Ameresco and TAEBC Secretary. “Ameresco is appreciative of TVA’s continued engagement with TAEBC’s annual lunch and learn, and pleased to support this conversation.”
