The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council was invited by the U.S. Department of Energy to bring a delegation to Washington D.C. in September 2015 to meet with federal agencies and our federal delegation to “get problems solved and questions answered,” following a successful visit to D.C. in 2014.
We’ll use an application process to select approximately 10 TAEBC members to join us in Washington D.C. This is a great opportunity to educate public officials about Tennessee’s advanced energy economy and network with stakeholders and business leaders.
This trip is open to members only and special attention will be given to ensure our delegation represents a broad cross-section of Tennessee’s advanced energy economy.
The trip will likely coincide with the Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative’s (CEMI) 2015 National Summit in D.C. Dates will be selected and applicants notified once the Department of Energy has selected its date for the summit.
